Impervious Gel Backed Carpets
Impervious Gel Backed Carpets incorporate stain resistant pile fibres along with a backing that is substantially impervious to water. Gel backed carpets have been specifically designed to prevent water from passing through the carpet and causing mildew and rotting of the carpet fibres.
The gel backing has an impervious backing also prevents water seeping through and affecting the existing subfloor, thereby making it ideal for use in nursing homes, schools, and care homes and other areas where there is a need to hygienically clean the floor finishes.
Impervious Gel Backed Carpets are extremely resilient and tough, perfect for high-traffic and density areas that are subject to a hard working life. These types of carpets are manufactured using polypropylene, a bleach resistant product that resists the stains.
For peace of mind, all impervious gel backed carpets come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty, in most cases 10 years of heavy domestic use.
