Stair Nosing

Stairs can be a dangerous place for you, your staff, your customers and the general public. They are hazardous places where a loss of balance can cause serious injury or worse. Stair nosings have been designed to help reduce the risk of falling or slipping from the stairs. Stair nosings, also known as stair edgings, are available in a range of different materials, such as brass, stainless steel, aluminium, rubber and pvc. The purpose of stair nosings is to offer a non slippery surface that offers good traction for people going up or down the stairs to help reduce the risk of falling, slipping or tripping. Specially designed stair nosings can be used for specific circumstances such as non-slip surfaces for swimming pools and wet areas.
